Sharing a Workout

You can share your workouts from our mobile apps and website. The following screenshots are from an iOS device but the process on Android devices is very similar.

Sharing via the Mobile App

To share a workout, locate the workout from your Workouts List and tap the "Share" arrow, next to the "Like" and "Comment" options.

If you have a photo attached to your workout, you have 2 options: "Share Image" or "Share Link."

1) Share Image - Choosing this sharing option will post an image of your workout's Activity Feed story, and will not link to your workout. Your workout privacy can be set to anything.

Below is an example of what will post to Facebook if you choose the "Share Image" option.

2) Share Link - This sharing option will post a link to your workout, where people can view all of your workout details, including your route, stats, map, etc. In order to share a link to your workout, the workout's privacy must be set to 'Public.'

Below is an example of what will post to Facebook if you choose the "Share Link" option.

If you do not add a photo to your workout at all, you will only be able to share a link.

After you've made a selection for how you'd like to share, you will have the option to share via text, email, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.

Sharing via the Website

Log in to and select "Training" from the top of the page, then select "Workouts" from the Training menu. This will direct you to your workout calendar. From the calendar, click on the workout that you'd like to share and then click "view" from the list of options. At the top of the workout, there are sharing options for Facebook, Twitter, and email. You can click the service you'd like to use and share it!

How can I choose who can see my workout when I share to Facebook?

If you choose to share to Facebook, whether a link or an image, you can select your post's desired audience.

If I want to hide my route, what is the best way for me to share my workouts?

To prevent other people from being able to see your route, the best option for sharing is to add a picture to your workout and "Share Image." This will not link users to your workout, and they will only be able to see the stats you've elected to include in your Activity Feed story.

Why doesn't Facebook show up as an option when I tap the "Share" icon?

If you don't have the Facebook app installed on your phone, you will not be able to share via this flow. You'll need to share your workout from our website.
