The Activity Feed includes an Explore tab where you can view and engage with public posts and workouts from other members of the MapMy community.
Who Can Use It?
Posts will only be displayed in the Explore Feed if they meet the requirements of having at least 1 photo and/or notes that are at least 30 characters long.
How to Use It
To view the Explore Feed on the mobile app, tap the "Feed" icon on the bottom menu.
Information within the Feed is ordered sequentially from the most recent activity to the oldest activity and cannot be rearranged or edited. The Explore Feed can be updated by swiping down from the top of your screen. The appearance of a post or workout on the Explore Feed depends on the post's privacy settings. Only posts with a PUBLIC setting will be eligible to appear on the Explore Feed. To learn more about Privacy Settings, check out our Help Center article here.
You should see three tabs at the top, like in the picture below: Explore, Friends, and Me. The Explore tab is where you can view public content from other members of the MapMy community.
Tap a workout post on the Feed to see detailed information, like splits and elevation, or give kudos by liking the workout or leaving a comment.
- You can “Like” a workout or post by tapping the heart icon. When the heart icon turns red, it means you've 'liked' it. To unlike it, tap the heart again and it will return to grey.
- To leave a comment, tap the speech bubble icon to the right of the heart. A text box will appear where you can write a comment and tap "Post."
Only users with "Friends" and "Public" profile settings can like or leave a comment on posts in the Explore Feed.
*Note: ALL comments on posts in the Explore Feed are public and will be seen by all other members of the Explore Feed, regardless of your privacy settings.
