If you upgraded via iOS in-app purchase, you must contact the Apple App Store to cancel your subscription. We are unable to cancel or refund MVP subscriptions purchased via the Apple app store as in-app purchases and subscription payments are handled by Apple in a closed payment system that we do not have access to.
These subscriptions cannot be canceled by visiting the MVP membership settings on the MapMy site; instead, you will have to cancel your subscription or request a refund directly from Apple. Here's a link to Apple's instructions for managing subscriptions created or purchased in-app through iOS devices.
To cancel your subscription directly from iTunes and the App Store, visit your subscription settings from the iOS Settings app. You can also manage your subscription on iOS by visiting your iOS Settings app > Tap your Apple ID and sign in to Apple > Media & Purchases > View Account > Subscriptions > MapMy > Cancel Subscription.
Additionally, below are a few options for contacting Apple to report a problem, cancel a subscription, or receive a refund:
- Visit your iTunes purchase history and click “Report a problem” at the bottom of the page.
- Click “Report a problem” from the original receipt emailed to you by Apple after the purchase.
- Visit this page and sign in with your Apple ID to report a problem with iTunes, iBooks Store, iOS, or Mac App Store purchases made in the last 90 days.
