Coaching is an iOS and Android app MVP feature that allows you to enable custom voice feedback for individualized training.
To access this feature on iOS, tap the settings cog in the upper right-hand corner, then select "Coaching."
To access this feature on Android, tap the settings cog in the upper right-hand corner, then select "Coaching."
The feature offers two modes: interval training and goal training. Interval training allows you to create custom time values for multiple intervals to achieve your perfect workout. Select each phase and enter the desired time for each to start training. Training by individual metrics—such as pace—allows you to focus on improving an individual goal.
Interval Training:
1. Warmup
2. Hard (iOS) / High (Android)
3. Easy (Recovery)
4. Repetitions
5. Cool Down
Coaching with Stats:
1. Pace
2. Speed
3. Distance
4. Duration
5. Heart Rate (iOS only, requires a heart rate monitor)
6. Calories (iOS only)
This feature is dependent on your profile settings for distance measurement and for outdoors recordings having a good GPS signal. If it does not produce accurate voice feedback you'll need to follow our GPS troubleshooting steps. If this is related to heart rate coaching, you may need to delete and reinstall the app to prevent coaching errors.
