Coaching is an MVP feature that allows you to enable custom voice feedback for individualized training.
Accessing Coaching via iOS
To access this feature on iOS, tap the Settings cog in the upper right-hand corner, then select "Coaching."
Accessing Coaching via Android
To access this feature on Android, tap the Settings cog in the upper right-hand corner, then select "Coaching."
Interval Training vs. Goal Training
The feature offers two modes: interval training and goal training. Interval training allows you to create custom time values for multiple intervals to achieve your perfect workout. Select each phase and enter the desired time for each to start training. Training by individual metrics, such as pace, lets you focus on improving an individual goal.
Interval Training:
1. Warmup
2. Hard (iOS) / High (Android)
3. Easy (Recovery)
4. Repetitions
5. Cool Down
Coaching with Stats:
1. Pace
2. Speed
3. Distance
4. Duration
5. Heart Rate (iOS only, requires a heart rate monitor)
6. Calories (iOS only)
This feature depends on your profile settings for distance measurement and outdoor recordings having a good GPS signal. If the feature does not produce accurate voice feedback, you'll need to follow our GPS troubleshooting steps. If you're receiving errors related to heart rate coaching, you may need to delete and reinstall the app to prevent coaching errors.
