You can change the units used by MapMy on our mobile app and our website. To adjust your time zone, however, you must visit our website, www.mapmyfitness.com. Instructions for each are found below.
Mobile (Change Units Only)
To change the app's units (imperial vs metric), tap "..." (bottom right) > scroll down and tap "Settings" > tap "Unit" > select proper unit.
To change the app's units (imperial vs metric), tap the menu (three lines upper left) > scroll down and tap "Settings" > tap "Units" > select proper unit.
Web (Time Zone and Units)
To change your units on the site, navigate to your Settings page. To do so, log in to www.mapmyfitness.com and hover over your avatar in the upper right corner. Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu, then click "Display/Units" from the list on the left. You can switch between miles and kilometers, as well as adjust your time zone from this page. Be sure to click "Save" before navigating to another page. Note: it may take a few minutes for changes made on our website to be reflected in the app. To view your changes immediately, you can log out of the app and then log back in.
Why are my workouts off by one day on the dashboard?
We are aware of an issue that can cause users in some time zones to see workouts attributed to the day before or after they were actually recorded when viewing the dashboard. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may cause.
Why is my Voice Feedback playing at the wrong time, or at 1.6 km instead of every 1 km?
If your audio is playing at the wrong intervals, please try reselecting your Voice Feedback preferences. Once you reselect those preferences, your feedback should begin queuing up based on your current unit of measurement settings moving forward.
