Deactivate Account

You can deactivate your account on our mobile app or website. Please note that following the instructions below will completely and permanently remove your profile, activity, and presence from all MapMy apps, including: MapMyRun, MapMyWalk, MapMyHike, MapMyRide, and UA Record.

If you have a MVP membership this should be cancelled prior to deactivating the account in question. To make edits to your membership level please visit your account settings Membership page and select the Cancel MVP option in the middle of the page. This will begin the MVP cancellation process.

Mobile App

To deactivate your account on our mobile app, open your MapMy app and access the app's menu. To do so, tap the "More" icon in the lower right corner (iOS), or tap the three horizontal bars in the upper left of the app (Android). From the menu, scroll to the bottom and select "Help" > then tap "Delete Account." You will be required to re-enter your password, then tap "Continue." If you do not know your password, there is a "forgot password" link at the bottom of the page.

Website

To deactivate your account on our website, log in to www.mapmyfitness.com and hover over your avatar in the upper right corner. Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu, then click "User Account" from the list on the left. Scroll down and click "deactivate my account."

A window will appear that asks you to review possible alternatives to deactivating. To continue with deactivation, click the link at the bottom that says "Thanks for trying, but I still want to deactivate my account."

From here, you'll need to input your account password and select your reason for deactivating. Once entered, click both check boxes and then click "Deactivate Account Now." Note: Deactivating your account is permanent and non-reversible. All data (workout, route, feed history) will be erased.
