Our Workout Routines feature will allow you to plan ahead before you hit the gym. You can also build new routines while you are working out. Once you have routines built, you can easily log these routines as workouts while having the ability to edit the routine if your workout that day featured any changes from the routine.
To get started, go to the menu at the bottom right corner of the app and then select "Workout Routines" from the menu. To build a routine, tap on the Build A Routine button.
This will allow you to name the routine, enter instructions for how the routine should be completed, and add exercises to the routine. Once you've chosen an exercise you will be able to choose the weight, reps, and duration for the exercise.
After adding an exercise, you can add more exercises, edit the sets for the exercises you have already chosen, or tap the done button to complete building that routine. If you need to reorder the exercises, you can do so by tapping the three dots to the right of any exercise name in the Routine Details screen below. From there, long press on the exercise name and you will be able to drag that exercise to the correct place in the routine.
When you are finished creating a routine, you'll have the option to immediately log that routine as a workout. Logging the routine as a workout will let you edit the specific weight, reps, duration, and sets for any differences in that day's workout. You can also update the date, activity type, duration, and calorie burn for the workout. Saving the workout will automatically populate the notes field with all of the relevant information for that workout routine so you'll be able to easily keep track of what you did.
