Hi Craig! That is correct, when the new web design goes live you will only be able to view Gear Tracker and the Activity Feed on our mobile apps.

I second this query and also the lack of MVP on the website itself is a real pain. I wouldn't mind if the mobile app was good at this aspect but its not so more detailed info relating to MVP plans etc should be available here.

Hi Joe! We appreciate your feedback on wanting to access our training plans on the website. I will pass your feedback along for consideration as we continue to evolve our web experience.

    Hi Liz,

Thank you for the quick reply. Viewing my activity from the website is an important feature and a key reason why I use Map My Ride. It's an extremely useful tool at the desktop level for tracking, planning and goal setting. Restricting this activity to the mobile app is much less useful and helpful. Please reconsider this action. I'll wait to see how the change is implemented for the website. I suspect though that this change will necessitate my utilizing Strava over MMR.

    Craig,

Thank you for the additional information. To clarify, we are removing the Activity Feed, but will retain a list view of your workouts as well as a calendar view, so you will be able to continue viewing and accessing your own workout history on the website. The only functionality that is going away is the ability to see you and your friend's workout "posts," which contains pictures, headline stats, and the ability to like or comment on the post.

If you leverage the Activity Feed for something other than a way to view your own workout history, can you highlight and rank the functionality you value the most?

    Thank you!

    Hi Olivia,

Thank you for clarifying. It's good to know the workout information will still be available on the website.

Does this mean MMR will no longer have a social aspect? We will no longer see or interact with friends on the website?

This will be relegated to the app?

    Thank you.

Craig, that is correct. You will still be able to view, add, and remove Friendships on MapMy websites, but will be unable to see friends' workout "posts" and like or comment on them. This functionality will be restricted to the mobile app experience after the changes are shipped.

    Hi All,

I have a suggestion, KEEP the Activity Feed on the "Map My" platforms (I use Map My Fitness BTW) but remove who has made friends with who from it and ONLY have actual activities showing on there.

The website feed is great for interacting with friends who have posted Activities there...yes i know the app will still have it but i do prefer to look at my 24" monitor over my Iphone when browsing MMF!!!

    Regards

    Graham

I've tried to review previous workouts from the calendar.  Sure, you can get to the workout.  But is really quite cumbersome.  The ability use the website's Activity Feed to quickly scroll back in time to review an old workout and see those routes was so very helpful.  This is not an improvement.

I do wonder, what is the motivation to drop Activity Feed?  The data is still in your databases if it can be shown on the phone app.  Building the UI with modern html5 and javascript is easier than ever.  There must be a reason for this decision.  It's not helping paying MVP customers like me.

I agree, MVP training plans on the website would be brilliant. They are such a pain to look at in the app. It would so good to be able to review and export them on a computer screen.

I like to program them into my garmin watch, it takes ages as I have to do it manually! Infact, i'm going to request a feature!
