Thank you for your feedback on the workout calendar. We have built a new page that will provide aggregate statistics similar to our old Dashboard.

You can access the new Stats page here: https://www.mapmyfitness.com/workout/stats

I understand many users still wish to see the weekly totals displayed on the calendar. We will pass this feedback along to our development team for consideration.

You already had a bar graph that showed mileage by day, week, month and year. Why take it away? That is one of the things I liked about your website and a reason I switched from Strava. Please add it back. That same charting ability should be on the phone apps.

I agree with Kellie Sweeney - please bring back the mileage totals - this is super helpful for training purposes

Admin,,,distance runners want more than just "weekly" totals.  We want to compare week to week. See our monthly and yearly totals as well.
You had a very good website and the changes that were made, respectfully, were not for the better.
For starters, not every user likes using a phone app.  Which is why the website is important to us. But beyond that, several of us asked that you not do away with the gear tracker.  I know I brought up the fact that the web app did not allow a user to add shoes post run.  What needs to be understood on the developers side is, many of us use GPS watches like Garmin to track our runs.   So if we use a GPS watch you can see the issue we have in tracking gear on the app.

It seems like mapmyrun is doing everything possible to make the site worse. The courses feature was removed recently, and now the calendar is a shell of itself. Why get rid of the weekly mileage? It's a very simple way for people to track their weekly progress. I also preferred the way it was before as the OP suggested.

Please bring back the weekly totals! The workout log is useless without it for any sort of training/tracking purposes. Apparently I should have kept my excel training log going since a downside of being web-based is that the interface and data available can change, thereby losing all the training history in the format I need.

i see nothing positive about the changes at first glance.

Week by week summary at a glance was my primary reason for getting on the site.

The changes have removed many useful items from the app.  This is just one of them.

I agree with Leon, Joanna, and Kellie.  The weekly mileage, the bar graph, the lifetime stats, and the ability to start my week on Sunday or Monday are all important to me.  I hope you can bring those back.

I'd really appreciate the bar graph coming back as mentioned above. I tracked month on month regularly, as well as finding the annual total really motivating - it's hard to see how I'm tracking vs last year now!! Please bring this functionality back!

I agree. The bar graphs on the website were so useful. Instead of removing them you should be expanding on this feature and also including it in the app. How is making the website less functional a good idea? What has been gained? Nothing I can see. I am extremely disappointed.

Ditto ^^ the weekly totals are very useful AND motivational --  please bring them back as a dashboard calendar and graph function.  Monthly-only totals in the upgrade are not useful.

Completely agree! My three favorite features were the bar charts, the weekly view on the calendar, and seeing my splits (and they removed two of my favorite three features)... Glad I am not the only one who is missing this.

I agree with everything said earlier.  For anyone who looks at their data seriously, the new design is a real disappointment.  I understand that many (most?) users may like this streamlined look, but I for one would at least like to have the option of toggling to a more data-rich format like you used to have.  I see little value in being a VIP with the new format.  It's a shame since I was a premium customer of yours since 2010.

Please make sure to include monthly and annual totals as well as weekly in whatever new presentation you come up with.  As others have said this is an important feature! The old graph showing weekly, monthly and annual mileage (and other) totals in columns (one per week, month or year) was perfect the way it was.

What Kellie said. I know it's on my phone but it was so convenient to look at the totals on my computer. Sometimes I wonder if the web designer is an actual user of the interface and understands what is important training information. Bring it back please.

I agree i used to always like to compare my workouts per week, per month and per year.

Can you please bring this back?

I love the new ability to view my mileage by activity (running vs. biking). It would be amazing to have that same distinction when you bring back the weekly mileage. It'd be great to see my running weekly mileage vs. my biking weekly mileage. Thank you!!!

Totally agree with everyone on this page the weekly stats were great for just a quick glance at what was happening in your workout. I thought I was cracking up when it had all disappeared and thought why. The idea was simple and effective. Sometimes things just need to be left alone for the straight to the point facts you require.

I agree with Kellie Sweeney. I really like seeing both my month AND week at a glance. Please change the calendar display back to the way it was, it was wonderful.

Totally agree with comments! Not a viable application without the stats on the calendar view.

James Race - yes, there are some options that allow you to see historic data, but I am unable to see as much as I did before this update (perhaps with the exception, as you mention, of no past year limit).  I don't want to see total mileage of past weeks for all activities but rather mileage just for running.  This was possible previously in the calendar view.  It was perfect.

I'm beginning to think Map My Fitness is shifting their strategy away from the running community as their features are becoming less robust.  I have a whole slew of features that I wish they offered, for example, ability to create a route in the app itself rather than on the website.  Another on my wish list being able to filer your routes on the desktop version by distance (which you can do on the phone app).

I understand new features take a while to develop, but I don't understand why they're moving backwards in terms of functionality.  I've always defended MMR with my running friends who use Nike + or Garmin.  I'm beginning to lose the argument now.  I have a garmin and their connect website still shows weekly totals, so I'm slowly switching to Garmin for most runs.  I'll probably only use MMR when I want to create a route before running (and then follow it on my phone) which is still MMR's best feature in my opinion, especially when running when traveling to new cities.

Anyway, thanks for the reply.  It's good to hear from a fellow MMR enthusiast even if I'm slowly becoming a former user.

Totally agree.  It's hard to imagine your design team are actually cyclists - why wouldn't any serious cyclist want to have easy access to these data ie mileage by day, week, month and year displayed visually?

I was also a big fan of the weekly mileage summary on the right side of the calendar.  Would be very nice to see that once again as I referenced that often.

Totaly agree and these features were there for years and in 1 day the site was revamped without notice and these reporting  features were gone under the umbrella of "enhancements"  - NOT.  Clearly this a drive to move users to the paid app - maybe UA could have provided us with some advance notice and a small incentive to move to the paid app??
