In response to your feedback, we have brought back the ability to view aggregate statistics, which you can access here: https://www.mapmyfitness.com/workout/stats

Click the dropdown menu in the upper left to view daily, weekly, monthly, or annual aggregates of your distance, duration, and calorie burn.

UPDATES: we recently shipped a few improvements to the Stats page, including:

    • Link to Lifetime Stats page
    • Filtering by Activity Type
    • Ability to select from Sunday or Monday week start day, or rolling week (i.e. last 7 days)
    • Ability to toggle backward/forward on date range using < arrows >
    • Bargraph values displayed without needing to hover

Absolutely agree! This was one of the simplest, yet most effective ways to set goals and see progress. Please, Please, PLEASE add it back.

Agree!!  I don't want to have to download all that info and pivot it myself.

Honestly - the bar graph was my most used feature.

I agree.  I  liked being able to check daily, weekly, monthly and yearly progress.  I set goals of all of those and have lost the ability to easily track where i stand.

The removal of the bar graph feature is mind boggling to me. Being able to sit down at the computer after each run to check my progress for the week, month and year compared was the best part of using this app. The website has lost its best feature and for what purpose? It isn't any easier to navigate than it was before. It just makes no sense. Removing functionality for no gain? Why would they think it was a good idea to do this? I have been doing this for six years and now it is gone. I am so disappointed.

Sorry, without summary/graphs, I don't need the app.

This design was clearly NOT created by runners, nor does it appear that runners were involved in the process. Most training is designed around the WEEK (see Lydiard, Daniels, Higdon, etc., etc.). The earlier design had multiple week views. If there's one hidden somewhere in this new design, I can't find it.

Seriously, without a weekly view, the value of the site is severely compromised.

i agree a whole bunch.  Cant believe that they would dumb down their website.  The bar graph, monthly and annual tracking was my favorite. I really liked where I could compare to where i was in the previous year.

I will second that, not sure what they were thinking when removing it

Yes we need it on the website and on mobile apps. It would also be nice to filter by type of activity and to see miles and avg pace statistics so you can monitor progress.

I agree with all comments above.   I too like to track my weekly, monthly and yearly totals.   I've set goals for myself (such as 1,000 mi per year) and the bar graphs / design allowed me to easily toggle between month and year which enabled me to easily track my progress.  I would be greatly appreciate if you could bring that feature back.

Yes the bar graph feature was very important to me. i also used the bar graph feature frequently to check daily, weekly, ,monthly and yearly progress. Much more difficult to make these comparisons now.

Completely agree! My three favorite features were the bar charts, the weekly view on the calendar, and seeing my splits (and they removed two of my favorite three features)... Glad I am not the only one who is missing this.

Same here. Being able to compare months and years was the only reason I logged into the website rather than the app.

I completely agree. I’m lost without this feature and ability to look across weeks, months and years. Please bring this back! The most used feature by me and my friends by far.

Being able to compare week-week, month to month, and year to year was what I used the most. 100% bring this back, please.

This post is very relevant to the discussion.  This was an excellent feature and is missed.  Why was it deleted when so many people used it?  Please bring it back quickly.

the bar graphs before had a few problems like not changing unit labeling after change the data selected.  It was a minor problem, but if they are starting from scratch,  I would like that problem solved.  For now, I am downloading the text and massaging it into excel.  That is clunky,

I'm so tired of the removal of features from MMR.  Most programs enhance their features year over year while you guys remove key features!  The bar graph that measured number of workouts, distance, time and calories by day, week, month and from year to year was one of the key features that I used to measure my progress and motivate me.  My two most motivational MMR features; Courses and the Bar Graph have been removed.  Your employees and programmers do not have an intimate understanding of your customers/athletes and your prioritizing your profits ahead of your customer.  This is not a successful business model long term.  Very dissatisfied!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring it back. It was a hugely motivating tool for me to compare daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly stats in chart/bar-graph form. I checked it every day, and miss it. My favorite part of the entire app, and I would probably switch if it does not re-appear. Thank you!

Hi Adam, I can't stress enough how vital it is to quickly bring back the bar graph for daily, weekly, monthly, yearly totals and comparisons. The site literally has zero value to many of us without it. If you are looking to expand the utility of it, you should consider two things:

    1. engineer it to include the totality of a user's history - I've used the site long enough my earlier years have "rolled off" the chart, so to speak, and I wish I could always compare my first year to my current one at a glance.

    2. make it easy to export that data to various formats, including pdf and excel.

I hope you are able to at least bring back the original functionality pretty quickly, because the changes that have been made are a master class in fixing what isn't broken.

Fully Agree let's return to the future of what we had prior to these so called enhancements.

Yeah, I don't understnad why mapmyfitness took AWAY features as they were working on improving the web site.  It seems they just stripped it down to a bare minimum.

I agree all the way. If this doesn't come back, I will be switching to something else.
