Thanks for returning the stats.  As reported by a few people, the performance is a bit slow.

The old Monthly stats would show the last 13 months which allowed us to see how we are doing compared to last year for the same month which was a nice view.  Can that be added?

It'd be nice to be able to separate different activities on the stats page. Total weekly mileage doesn't mean much when combining swimming, running and biking mileage.

On the stats page you have blue bars indicating the distance. I see I can mouse over the bar and see the distance. Am I missing the part where I can see the numbers listed for each day instead of just viewing them for the amount of time I mouse on the bar? I could get some paper out and write all the data down.

It really feels like the website was fixed when it wasn't broken, like a web designer that doesn't run, bike or anything else made some cool features. We need numbers.

Well said, Katie Sullivan. Plus the "restored" interface isn't nearly as fast or user friendly as the original.

I love the new stats page. Really well presented, easy to use - the more you give, the more we want of course, but great job!

Why did you get rid of the steps statistics?  Sometimes changes/improvements are not the best.  This seems to be the case with the latest upgrade

Sorry, but I like the old system better.  I could look at the calendar and see how active (or lazy) I was for the week.

I'm glad this is back and it is better but the calories say kcal but when I hover it says kjoules.

Gavin Holland hit the spot.  The new stats are slow and it would be great to replicate the old functionality

I also agree that we need the weekly/monthly/yearly mileage to be able to be separated by activity. Total mileage means nothing if it's combined with walking, biking and running all lumped together. The new site looks pretty but needs to function as well as look good! Would also love to have the weekly mileage be available on the dashboard/calendar view like it used to be

    Thanks!

Any chance of including heart rate zone stats to help show the correlation between calories burned?

Please bring back the weekly totals on the calendar. It would also be great to have a daily breakdown for each week, not just the current one. Also the stats page takes so long to load.

Would be nice to have a Custom Date range, with more virtual races now, which start into one day and finishes 1week, 2 months or even more, it would help avoiding doing the math myself (regardless that i love math).

Also, is there a way to find the stats on elevation gain?

Stats page doesn't work at all for me on any browser. It's not that it's waiting to load - it's just entirely blank.

Can you at least return the calendar view so that the weekly stats appear at the end of each week on that view?

    Still with the stats.

Bar graphs, who thought that was a good idea?

Why a rolling week. I want to know what I did this week starting on Sunday like the calendar and the way you used to show it.

Dashboard,  how about one more column to show distance and calories burned like you used to have?

Why can't you just put it all back the way it was?

Thank you for adding this. It will be really useful to be able to filter by activity type, as you say is coming, and also to be able to select more than one of those types (e.g. run and indoor run) using check boxes, for instance. For all us run geeks and stattos.

Where did the Lifetime Stats go?

Super, super happy to hear that work is being done so that we can filter stats by activity type again. I really miss that feature.
What I really liked was having the weekly totals on the calendar view. And, if I recall correctly, those totals were by activity type, too. For instance, I could easily view for a given month the total miles, PER WEEK, that I did on the bike, running, swimming. The stats were so easy to compare by week within calendar view.

Thanks for continuing to work on site improvement, based on user feedback!

Can you put somewhere more detailed statistics, like it was before, i.e. month pace, duration etc. progress. Also, heart rate development graphs where you can see how this is changing in a longer period of time?

Please bring back calendar view of stats by activity!.  This is a must for training!  It is an efficient way to keep up with mileage!

    Thank you!

I would sign up for pro version if i could get:
    1) Aggregate data by activity type (seems it's comming)
    2) Aggregate data by altitude just like you currently do for miles, duration (how did that make the cut...), and others.

Until then it's not worth paying for.  Strava is doing much better in the statics area....

Wow, this is great. Kudos on bringing back the nice design.

It would be great if you could add some other statistics such as cadence, pace, stride length, etc. so we can keep track of the average values and progress across time.

    Thanks!

Insofar as the dashboard is concerned...

This isn't a dashboard.  Dashboards display things at a high level.  This is a detail display.  Provide a hover over so that if you hover a dialog comes up displaying all the info that you're getting now when you click on an activity.  Might be useful to expor;t doesn't seem possible though.

Insofar as the stats are concerned...

Not the first time a 'new and improved' has taken away functionality.  The previous calendar view was useful as you saw most everything at once w/o much scrolling.  A calendar view is a simple organizing motif - you have weekends & weekdays.  It's not unsurprising to see activities peak around weekends.  It also showed if you had multiple activities of different types on the same day.

The x-axis on the bar graph starts on 8/2.  Ummmm...what day is that?  A calendar tells you that straight off.  If you wanted to be clever then you could link the bar graph to the calendar view.  If the calendar view is a month then the bar graph shifts accordingly.  If you highlight an activity on the calendar then there would be a portion of the bar graph highlighted.

Collapse your bar graphs into one graph.  Then you can more easily compare the different things being represented by the graphs.

    Looks beautiful.  Thank you!

Small tweaks which might be good:

    - distance on the yearly graph is too wide for the columns.  I have had similar problems building graphs, I would certainly put a <br> before distance unit (i.e. 1000<br>km) and would suggest reducing decimal places for numbers over 999.

    - for 52 week view, you could have a last 52 weeks.  Bit of a pain to code as a one off but would be quite cool.

    Generally though, well done

There seems to be a bug on the weekly view.  If I view the weekly stats on a Sunday, when "Monday Start Week" is set, then the bars are shifted along a week so that the final bar shows the previous rather than the current week.  It works fine on every other day, just not on a Sunday (which is when I need my weekly stats!).

Although the 'new' stats place looks very clean. But where are the other stats - like, heart rate, intensity and other really useful information. I use this app for my workouts (mostly) and have a heart condition. These stats help me a great deal in monitoring my heart health. If there is no access to this, then this app is of no use to me. I have been using your app for years now and really love it. would hate to leave you because of this.

The stats are incorrect. Total miles does not equal thr sum of all miles for each month.
