Fitbit two-way integration with MapMyFitness
Featured AnsweredI was a paying Endomondo customer for years and enjoyed two-way integration between Endomondo and Fitbit. Since you're retiring Endomondo, I migrated to MapMyFitness. I now have to manually enter workouts to track them in Fitbit. This caused a double entry in MapMyFitness, so I cancelled the integration today.
Please create a two-way integration with Fitbit to MapMyFitness. Under Armour had this with Endomondo, so my experience with MapMyFitness does not meet my expectations.

Thank you for reaching out. We do not currently offer the ability to sync data to/ from Fitbit, but we would be happy to pass your request along for future consideration. Our support team works to ensure that all feature requests are heard by our product managers and developers.

I do have the same issue. Revoke the access of my FITBIT with Endomondo since you are retiring Endomondo. I was a premium user with ENDOMONDO. Moving to Mapmyfitness seems like an upgrade.Though I am really dissapointed.
User Interface with the Android is quite complicated. Endomondo was simple and except the downtime (every now and then) it works fine.
With MMF, there is no Auto-Pause for Walk workouts. Ok. I am not an elite athlete and every second is not an Issue. Though Endomondo supported Auto-Pause. Moving to MMF should be an Upgrade not the opposite. I tried both Endomondo / MMF / Strava and my FITBIT and MMF on a 10km Run (Saving it as a Walk Workout) at the end is about 600 meters less the total distance with 5-6 minutes plus to my overall total time. This is totally unacceptable.
As I said I am not an elite Athlete, I am Diabetic and with a Power Walk of 5-10 km on a daily basis helps kept my Blood Glucose under Control.
Not to mention the Sharing to Social Media. Especially on Instagram. With Endomondo was Plug and Play Now I am enforced to upload a photo to the workout in order to be able to share it with a photo.
I do get the 3-month MAPMYFITNESS premium subscription tryout though I am totally disappointed.
MMF Hear Rate analysis sucks and even you rename all the Heart Rate ZONES. Who understand Zone 1 2 3 etc.
Give me a break - Seems you are repeating the same mistake as Microsoft with Windows 8.0 by removing the Start Button. You want to retire Endomondo Fine. Try to give your existing Premium Customers at least all Endomondo features / functionality and services first.
On the other hand let me Thank you for sending my DATA. If by the end of the 3-month trial you do not try to fix certain issues. Auto-Pause is MUST for me etc. I may consider STRAVA and/or use only the FITBIT Ecosystem.
An early reply would be very much appreciated.
thanking you in advance,

Hello, I was a Endomondo user and now I switched to MapMyRun (and I want to become a Premium) because Endomondo stops. I track my run with my TomTom Runner watch into TomTom Sports, that was connected with Endomondo and is now connected with MapMyRun. So far so good. But I cannot seem to connect my Fitbit Charge 3 with MapMyRun, which means that I don't see my walks, or bike rides or swim sessions in my dashboard. I think this will be an issue for many ex-Endomondo users. Could you please do something about that? If this is not possible, I feel forced to find another app to track my runs. Thx a lot for your reaction!

Having the same Fitbit access that was available with Endomondo is important. The reduced functionality of MapMyRun is not great. There also seems to be no indication that you are going to be incorporating all the lost functionality into MapMyRun at a later date. This is overall disappointing. I think I may the switch to Strava if there is not going to be some improvements in functionality. The MapMyRun development team needs to be explaining what they are working on. Are they going to put back the Endomondo functionality?

Add my name to the list for the Fitbit integration. Trying the 3 month free offer and so far...not impressed. Web site is difficult to navigate. Haven't found the fitness plans yet and the HR tracking sucks. When retiring one product...one would think the new product being offered would be at least equal to if not better than the one being retired. Shame on you UA.

The lack of Fitbit integration is problematic to say the least. Especially when doing challenges. When my walking shows up, which is rare, it is marked as "Steps, Machine." I manually have to go back in and change it to walk for it to show up in the challenges. This is time-consuming and unnecessary. I am walking, not using a machine. Otherwise I have to enter the workout manually altogether.

I have to join to request for Fitbit support.
For years I paid premium account at Endomondo and use combination Fitbit <-> Endomondo -> Relive, where Relive was used only for Visualisation and Fitbit for daily tracking. I used Endomondo for all comparisons, ratings, statistics, etc.
Now Endomondo is ending and I'm trying to find a replacement.
1) recommended MapMyFitness does not support communication with Fitbit -> I would like use it, but not applicable now, because Fitbit is necesarry for me
2) Many people recommended Strava supports Fitbit but does not support relive and also does not accept activities without GPS data. (Pedometer, swimming in the pool, riding an exercise bike, etc ...) -> unsatisfactory
3) Runtastic or Adidas running does not support Fitbit -> not applicable
4) Samsung Health can only be connected to Strava -> not applicable -
Buongiorno

Also a Endomondo premium member and Fitbit user. If there is no Fitbit integration then I will definitely be looking at using a different app. Sadly it is all too common for companies to either ruin software/apps they purchase or get rid of them and offer something very inferior in it's place. Sounds like this is what's happening here as well. And I don't even know how you have a fitness tracking app and not integrate with Fitbit, very short sighted on UAs part. Hopefully they will correct before loosing all the Endomondo premium users - you know the ones willing to pay money for the app.

Another vote for matching Endomondo functionality on start, stop, heart zones AND Fitbit ( ionic) integration.
Are you hearing this enough yet to incorporate these updates - or will all of your Endomondo and Fitbit users you bought from Endomondo abandon MapMyFitness?
Your choice...but don't wait too long.
