Where Can I Buy UA Headphones?

You can purchase UA Headphones from Under Armour's website or from our manufacturing partners, JBL.

Do UA Headphones come with an MVP subscription for MapMyFitness? 

Yes, redemption instructions are located on the back of the “Find Your Fit” insert in the product box. There will be a 15 Character Access Code is printed on the insert card or you can visit www.mapmyfitness.com/promo/UAWireless. If you are not a MMF Member, you will need to register on the website before you can redeem your Access Code. If you are already a MMF Member with an MVP Membership, you will not be able to redeem the promotion until your current membership expires.

How Do I Wear the UA Headphones Wireless?

First, it is very important that you use the correct size enhancers (rubber tips).  While the tips may appear too large, these do not go all the way into your ear canal. The enhancers are supposed to fill the entire bowl (concha) of your ear, so please be sure to try both sizes to insure a comfortable fit.

Second, we recommend wearing the cable under your chin.  This puts the mic in front, by your mouth, giving you better call quality as well as fit and stability, and a better wireless connection.

You can also wear the cable behind your neck, but be sure to use the optional cinch to keep the cables together, but do not over-tighten or the earbuds will not stay firmly in seated in your ears. How Do I Change the Enhancers (rubber tips)?

There are two sizes that come with the UA Bluetooth Wireless: Size 5 on the Earbuds

Size 7 in the box in a clear poly bag . The first time you change the enhancers the material might feel a little stiff. Please make sure to align the funnel of the enhancer tip over the small speaker screen of the headphone casing. If you do not know the size of the enhancer you have, you should see on the inside of each Enhancer is a raised stamp with two marked ‘R’ for Right and ‘L’ for Left . There will either be a ‘5’ indicating the small size or ‘7’ indicating the larger size.

Most people use the same size for Right and Left but it is possible to use different sizes because some ears are not symmetrical. If are unsure on what size to wear, please send us an “ear selfie” of the ear tips in your ear and send it to ua.jblsupport@harman.com with Subject line “Sizing”

Is the Carrying Case Waterproof?

No, the case is NOT waterproof.

Are the Earphones Waterproof?

The product is Water Resistant and Sweat Resistant, but you cannot swim with these headphones.

Can I Wear the Earphones in the Rain?

Although the product is Water Resistant and Sweat Resistant, continuous exposure to water over an extended period of time my damage your earphones.

How do I Clean my Earphones?

We recommend cleaning the earphones with an alcohol-free audio or electronic wipes

What Devices are Compatible with my Earphones?

Any device that has Bluetooth capabilities will be compatible with the Under Armour BT Headphones.

What is the Bluetooth Range?

The Bluetooth range varies, however; you should get up to 15 meters (just under 50 ft) when using the product indoors. If you are using the headphones outside, conditions vary based on surroundings and body mass. For the best connectivity results, please make sure that the device you are paired to, is in the front of your body.

How do I turn on the device?

In order to power on the device, place one of the headphones inside your ear and press and hold the center button on the inline mic. You should hear the audible voice stating, “powering on” and a blue blinking light should appear at the top of the enline mic. If this is your first time connecting to a device, it should immediately go into pairing mode. The device should recognize the UA BT headphone. Once you select that option, the audible voice should state, “connected.”

How do I turn off the device?

Press and hold the center button for 3-5 seconds until the audible voice states “power off” you will briefly see a red light before completely powers down.

How do I connect to a different device?

In order to connect to a different Bluetooth device, make sure that the unit is turned off. You then must press and hold the center button for about 3-5 seconds. You should see the light blink red and blue while it is in pairing mode and the audible voice should state, “looking for device” You should see UA BT Wireless pop up on the device that you are attempting to pair it with. Choose that option and wait for the audible voice to state, “connected.”

How do I charge the battery?

The device is charged by a standard micro USB charger. In order to charge the unit, gently pull out the rubber cover just below the light indicator on the left side of the inline mic. You will see the the charging cable end. 

How long should I charge the battery?

It typically takes 1 to 2 hours to full charge the device. You should get 8 full hours of battery life if the unit is fully charged. (please note that 8 hours of battery life depends on how high or low the volume and what kind of music you listen to).

How do I skip tracks or control the volume?

In order to pause or play your track, press the middle button. To raise the volume, press and hold the top button on the inline controls. To lower the volume, press and hold the bottom button. To skip tracks forward, press the top button with two quick clicks. To track backward, press the bottom button with multiple clicks. To answer or hang up calls, press the middle button.

When will I know that there is a low Battery?

You should hear the audible voice stating ‘low battery’ when you have about 20 minutes left of battery life left on the UA BT headphones. If you have an Apple device, you will actually be able to see the battery life in the upper right hand corner of the device next to the BT symbol.
