Course Fly-By Video

I thought the website's 3D Course Fly-By Video was a great feature when it worked. But, unfortunately it stopped working over a year ago & never was fixed. Currently, I get a '404 Not Found' error when clicking on it.

    Hi Wes, I apologize for the error you experienced when trying to view a route in 3D mode. I will make sure to pass your feedback along for review and consideration as we continue to build and improve the Routes feature on our website.

    I agree with Wes concerning the 3D Course Fly-By Video - it was a superb feature.  I instigated a ticket with MMW about this about a year ago but it would seem that this wonderful facility may have gone forever.  For the record, I had tried using it in Windows 7, Windows 10, Firefox and Chrome but to no avail.  It just stopped working.  At least I know there are other people out there who liked it!

    Is this broken permanently - will you be fixing it? It is a really good feature when it works but it never does any more.  I have tried on different computers with different browsers....

    My fly-by's don't work either. I get a 404 error message. I'm considering going back to Strava

    Mike, good to hear others also miss this cool feature that used to work. I had actually created a support request in November 2018  (support ID #1947743) but it was 'resolved' with a comment that they would look into it and hoped to have it resolved 'soon'. Unfortunately, since then, I've never received any followup.

    Just logging my voice as another MapMyFitness user that would like to have the 3D flyover back.
    Is the issue related to Google satellite view licensing?

    I also reported this in 2018 and got the same reply. Don’t think they are working at it at all.

    I also enjoyed and miss the 3D fly-over feature. If you are not going to fix it, perhaps you can give us the ability to export a Google Earth file? That would work, although not as good as the original one you guys had!
