Take two: clicking on a workout from the calendar should now open it in a new tab. Can you give it a try and let us know?

    Thanks for your patience!

I've tried it, in both Chrome and Edge, and I still do not have a "Open link in New Tab" option in my right click menu. The only difference I see is that View and Reload Frame disappeared. I also cannot hold down the Ctrl key and click to get it to open in a new tab. I did try clearing my cache but that did not help.

    Thanks.

So sorry, our Engineering team misread the original request. We are working on this now and will update the thread once it's live (and tested). Thanks for your patience!

Workouts do indeed now open in a new tab by default when you click on them. That isn't quite what I was expecting either. I was expecting to have it as an option in the right click menu to open in a new tab, like it usually is for regular html links. I wonder if the default new tab will end up being more confusing for users who are not as web savvy and don't understand why they then have multiple tabs open.

The way you have the workout displayed right now looks like:

    <a class="fc-day-grid-event fc-h-event fc-event fc-start fc-end fc-allow-mouse-resize" style="background-color:#179AFF"><div class="fc-content"> <span class="fc-title">6.15 mi Run</span></div></a>

where the <a> tag click is being captured but does not have an "href" attribute on it, so the browser doesn't see it as a link, doesn't put the New Tab option in the right click menu. At first look, I don't have more of a suggestion for how to make it work both ways.

Yes, we made the Product decision to have it by default open into a new tab every time.

Having all workouts open in a new tab as default is annoying, please reconsider this and put it back to the original way where there there is an option for people who want open it as a new tab.
